Baby shower 101 was created for new moms, friends and family members who are going to throw the baby shower. I wanted to make a portal where everyone can go to get free content in helping make planning less stressful for everyone as well as add some creativity to the baby shower if needed. A key fact to remember is that you are throwing this party for a good friend, sister, daughter, or family member and that being with good friends and family is the biggest value of the party. It does not have to be over the top (unless that is the way the mommy-to-be likes it to be :) Just make sure to have a good time with memorable things planned for the party since the biggest value during the baby shower is friendship, love, and excitement of a new little one joining the community of friends and family!

Spring-Summer Baby Shower IIf you have your baby shower from now till the 4th of July, it can work out very well as a baby shower 4th of July theme. A few ideas are to use the theme of "July 4th" by having everyone dress in red (pinkish red), white or blue. A cute baby shower idea is to have everyone sign a 4th of July theme board (i.e., in the shape of a fire work, flag or liberty bell). Another idea is to have Uncle Sam on sheets of paper with a text bubble next to him or on a big poster board and give the parent's to be some ideas that would be helpful for their preparing for their little "firecracker" Symbolic candy, including red, white and blue candy (jellybeans) are great to place on tables of the baby shower. Serving finger food on patriotic plates and napkins or things with the 4th theme as well as spreading colorful patriotic decorations and shredded paper/tinsel on tables is a nice touch for the 4th baby shower celebration. Decorations can be little baby plastic dolls holding flags, as well as the statue of liberty, fireworks and anything else patriotic. A nice gesture is to raise money for the troops over in the Middle East by donating to family help (Red Cross) for those in need. Baby shower decorations can be purchased at any party store that sells 4th of July decorations or created for the 4th of July as well as cups, place settings and other items.
